Wollmeister Shawl

Yes we do have Wollmeise yarn! We are not allowed to sell it online, so you will have to see it at the festivals we attend.

It is such a beautiful and strong yarn, that we decided to make up a shawl pattern for it.

You can read it here, or download it from Ravelry

Enjoy!

Section 4: Second Lace Panel:

use colour B

You should have around 60 stitches on each side of marker. Pattern repeats are 7 stitches each, so If you want your lace panel to end with a lace hole aligned with the centre YO, you can count back from centre marker 1 sts plus multiples of 7 and start your repeat there.

Row 1 (RS): K2, YO, K1, place marker, *k5, k2tog, yo*; repeat from * until 1 sts before marker (your last YO should be where we normally have a YO in this row along the spine), k1, sm, k1, *yo, ssk, k5*; repeat from * across, ending with, k1, yo, k2.

Repeat from Row 1 of section 2.

Continue until you have done 16 rows in this lace panel section. You will have ended after doing a purl WS row.

Section 5 : use colour A

Row 1 (RS): k2, yo, k until 1 st before marker, yo, k1, sm, k1, yo, k until last 2 sts, yo, k2.

Row 2: K to 1 st before marker, P1, sm, P1, K across.

Repeat these last 2 rows 3 more times (for rows 3-8)

Row 9: k2, yo, k until 1 st before marker, yo, k1, sm, k1, yo, k until last 2 sts, yo, k2.

Row 10: Purl across.

Repeat rows 9 and 10 x3 more times (this will be rows 11 to 16).

Now repeat rows 1 and 2 of this section in Colour A.

Switch to colour B and repeat rows 1-2 of this section.

Repeat rows 1-2 again in colour A, then B, then A again (now done row 26).

Switch to Colour B: Repeat rows 9-10 of this section.

Switch to colour A: and repeat rows 9-10.

For rows 31-42 repeat rows 1-2 in: Colour A, then B, then A, then B, then  A, then A again.

Now bind off in a stretchy bind off of your liking, or use a needle one size larger in a regular bindoff to allow for more of a stretchy edge.

Block and wear with pizazz!
